Non Sequitur

April 27, 2026 Jeff Reed

Non Sequitur

Jesus is crying over the children of Lebanon—

over their parents shivering in tents—

over questions of where their homes have gone—

over the graves of the innocent—

over bullies going over the top—

Jesus is crying, but Christians are not.

Christians are crying over a statue in Debel—

over the blasphemy of a hammer—

over the betrayal of a warrior of Israel—

over this gut-punch to his staunch benefactors—

over the re-crucifixion of God—

Christians are crying, but Jesus is not.
